Like, he’s one of the only people who can get a reaction out of Bruce.
I mean.
Other people will be yelling at him or crying or telling him what an awful person he is, and he (Bruce) will just sit there contemplating.
But if Dick does that shit, Bruce’ll react too.
And I count the whole ‘we both know I can do this all day but I’ve got things to do’ staring contest thing as a reaction. Because he’s not dismissing Dick when he does that, he’s trying to get him to shut up because he has to listen to Dick, he can’t just ignore him.
But Dick never, like, abuses this fact, and he might not be very aware of it. But other people are, and everytime Bruce is going over some line, someone will call Dick and he’ll show up and tell him to stop and stare him down and that’s how Bruce knows he’s gone too far and then he stops.
