Here we can truly understand how profound the wound in Clark’s soul is after his father’s and Bruce’s loss. He loses his capacity of judgement and for this he can’t understand Dick, and he goes close to hurt him… to hurt Dick, his sort-of nephew.
Of course the issue explores Superman’s grieving more than Dick’s (that happens in Batman’s comic), but I really appreciated how in the end we have another confirmation of what neither Bruce or Dick like to say at loud, even if we know is the truth.“I lost my father too.”
